5 Tips To Decorate Mansion !!!

While many dreams of owning a big house one day, those with them know that making such houses feel cozy can be a considerable challenge. Homes with a lot of space to fill, and especially those with high ceilings, can be challenging to decorate.

So, let's get started:

1. Use bold colors:

A large house can get away with brighter and darker colors such as dark blue or deep red accent walls which help space feel smaller.

Avoid the use of monochromatic neutral colors on all walls, and in particular white walls, as space will only feel larger. Work with warm colors like earthy reds, oranges, and yellows to warm up your areas.

Bronze and wood finishes will also feel more comfortable than silver and chromes though the latter may give you a greater sense of sophistication and minimalist ambiance.

2. Creative lighting:

No matter what size of a room you have, lighting can make a difference in how the room feels. Fortunately, with a large room, there are often more windows, so during the daylighting isn’t as much of a concern. But shadows and dark corners can make everyone feel uneasy at night. If you have just one center ceiling light, you will likely want to add more light with lamps. A room can look awkward if you have too many fires, though, so here are a couple of tips for lighting a large room.

Perhaps pick two or three lamps of more massive scale with similar shades and then mix in the slimmer less obtrusive metal floor and wall lamps to bring lighting all around the room. Mixing in glass lamps can also prevent lamp overload. You can have an outlet put into the floor near the perimeter of a conversation area for a lamp cord if it isn’t convenient to plug it in the wall.

3. Give Perfect Touch To Living Room:

Due to the extra space, large houses tend to feel colder. Add touches to your area by using large printed carpets or one with broad stripes will help. Textured fabric like velvet, corduroy, or tweed can be exceptionally hardworking and durable on curtains, sofas and scatter cushions and will add character to your space.

4. Use room dividers:

These are another tool to use to make large spaces feel smaller. This can be done using an L shaped seat which not only takes up more space but also immediately adds a comfortable feel to the room.

Alternatively, you can divide the sitting room from the dining room by using a console table or by using a screen to separate the spaces.

5. Try out two-tone walls:

This is where the bottom half of the wall will be painted in a darker color than the top half of the wall. The wall can be demarcated with a skirting or simple stick tape in a straight line across the wall to help the painter separate the top color from the bottom color. Painting in two tones will make the walls feel shorter than they actually are especially in rooms with high ceilings.

So, That's it guys Hope it helps.
